The HDD capacity has been expanded from 360 GB to 500 GB(5400rpm, Serial ATA) with this new limited edition version Ferrari  One, codenamed the FO200-15.The other specs are retained the same with ACER’s first Ferrari One model the FO200-Rb43. They include a 11.6 inch WXGA (HD) 1366 x 768, up to 4GB of DDR2 SDRAM, AMD Athlon 64 X2 L310 (1.2GHz ) of CPU, ATi Radeon HD 3200 graphics, IEEE802.11b/g/n, Bluetooth 2.1 + EDR compliant.
It will be available as of March 19 in Japan for 72, 800 yen.

TG Sambo announced the launch of its new ultra-thin notebook pc ‘Averatec Lookie’ in Korea market, which is powered by Intel Core 2 Duo processor and Windows 7 OS. With 0.5cm thickness and 1.4kg weight, the Averatec Lookie is equipped with a LED backlit LCD screen, 250GB HDD, a webcam, an ergonomic keyboard and a HDMI port. Supporting up to 6 hours of battery life, it is expected to be available for 799,000(KRW).

Google is making another device besides the Nexus One, in case you’ve forgotten. The hardware in question is a netbook that is supposed to run the Chrome OS, known for now as the Google Chrome Netbook. Well, the tech world has just come upon some tasty rumors purporting to be the official specs of the netbook in question. Here’s the skinny of the rumored Chrome netbook specs:

• 10.1-inch multitouch screen (HD ready)
• Nvidia Tegra with ARM-based processor
• WiFi, Bluetooth, 3G,
• Pre-installed with Google free software and services like Maps, Google Search by Voice, Google Calendar, Google Docs, etc. (though as PC World has noted, some of these software and services are web-based and could not be pre-installed.
• 64GB SSD drive
• Google to sell Chrome netbook itself for under $300

Adopting a 10.1-inch LED backlit LCD screen with 1024*600 resolution, the Averatec Buddy HS-105 features 250GB HDD, 1GB of RAM, Bluetooth connectivity, 802.11b/g/n wireless LAN, a 1.3M webcam and 4-in-1 multi-card reader. Suggested price is 699,000(KRW).

MSI has unveiled its U130 and U135 netbooks both sporting the N450 processor with its integrated graphics. The two machines also claim to be the first netbooks to achieve the international WiMax forum certification. MSI claims that battery life on these machines is up 15% from previous models. Both the U130 and U135 have a 10-inch LED backlit LCD, webcam, memory card reader, WiFi, Bluetooth and optional 3.5G broadband. Storage is to either a 160GB HDD or a 250GB HDD. It would appear the size of the hard drive is what sets the machines apart. The U130 sells for £229 with the U135 going for £279.

Korean firm Moneual launches the MiNEW N20U netbook. The stylish device has a pretty standard configuration getting an Intel Atom 1.6GHz CPU, 1GB of RAM, and a 10.1-inch LCD display. Instead of 160GB hard drive, like most netbooks, the N20U has either a 16GB or a 32GB SSD. It supports WiFi 802.11b/g/n.

Asus is planning the new Eee PC 1201T slim netbook, which is based on AMD’s Congo, the 2nd Generation Ultrathin Notebook Platform, instead of Intel’s Atom platform. The 1201T gets an AMD Athlon Neo MV-40 1.6GHz processor, AMD RS780MN chipset and ATI Radeon HD3200 graphics for 1080p Full HD capability. The new Eee PC has 2GB of DDR2 RAM and a 320GB hard drive. It features a 12.1-inch 1366×768 LCD display and supports WiFi 802.11b/g/n and Bluetooth 2.1. Though the device offers 1080p performance, it lacks HDMI connector but only VGA. The Eee PC 1201T measures 296mm (W) x 208mm (D) x27.3-33.3mm (H) and weighs 1.46kg.

The Asus Eee PC 1201T has been announced in China, along with the 1201N and 1201HA. All of them run Windows 7.

While many scoffed at the idea of Nokia building a netbook, the idea does have its share of merits. After all, the Finnish company knows a few things about eking out runtimes from compact batteries, and with netbooks being perhaps the most likely of computing devices to be in search of mobile connectivity, stuffing them with the sort of wireless access your high-end Nokia boasts certainly makes sense. Throw in eye-catching design and you’re onto a winner, right? Unfortunately, we’ve found the Nokia Booklet 3G falls short in other areas.
