LG announced the stylish GD880 or LG Mini that claimed to be the smallest and slimmest 3.2-inch full touchscreen phone on the market. The Mini features a 5 Megapixel camera, A-GPS support, WiFi and support for HSDPA 7.2Mbps network.

The LG GD880 Mini includes the Social Network Connect and built-in apps for accessing popular social networks such as Facebook and Twitter. You can see the sleek, stylish phone on the market staring in March.

The LG Rumor Touch was unveiled at CES and we got a quick overview. The successor of the LG Rumor gets now a large 3-inch WQVGA touch screen, a 5 line QWERTY keyboard (before it was 4 line), a 2 MP camera (before it was 1.3 MP) and 3G data capability on Sprint’s Network. The keyboard has a great touch and is very comfortable to use. The new Hello user interface allowing the user to have their favorite contacts on the home screen is cool and the graphic change according tot the season. LG’s next PRADA cellphone might adopt the Android OS.  The so-called PRADA 3 is expected to have a QWERTY keyboard and touchscreen, and it’s also been suggested that US carrier Sprint will be offering the device.  If so, it would make this particular luxury smartphone the first carrying the PRADA name to use CDMA rather than a GSM radio. It would also be the first time that a PRADA handset would have got a carrier deal in the US; previous models have only been sold SIM-free and unlocked, and usually very expensively.  There’s also some speculation that LG will be bringing the PRADA 3 along to CES 2010 next month, where they’ve scheduled a joint event with Sprint and – bizarrely – Brooke Shields.

Perhaps it’s the ultra-wide 21:9 touchscreen display or maybe it’s the revised LG UI, but something about the Chocolate BL40 intrigues us. The simple fact that this handset is decidedly different from anything else on the market could be what’s drawing us in. Whatever the case, LG has just officially announced that its new oddball Chocolate phone will launch sometime toward the middle of this month in Europe. According to the release, the rest of the world will get the handset in October, though specific markets remain unnamed. To refresh your memory and whet your appetite, this Black Label phone features a 4-inch 800×345 pixel touchscreen display, LG’s S Class UI, a 5 megapixel camera with Schneider-Kreuznach lens, 7.2Mbps UMTS/HSDPA connectivity, Wi-Fi, and aGPS. The specs are there, the unique factor is there — the question is whether or not the market is there for a barely-pocketable feature phone with what will undoubtedly be a lofty price tag.
