It’s difficult to see manufacturer’s fascination with MIDs. Everyone wants to make a pricey multimedia internet device. Inbrics, a Korean company, will probably have VoIP calling. For now the promise is advanced convergence, and we can glimpse a thin device with a slideout QWERTY and touchscreen. The as-yet unnamed device will have WiFi and GPS and is powered by ARM Cortex A8 800MHz processor running on the Google Android OS. Another standaout feature is the AMOLED (active matrix OLED) widescreen. Yes, the screen seems like a long one, the trend, apparently, of future mobile devices.
