NVIDIA’s Fermi chips had been delayed, but they’re apparently far enough along for spokesperson Brian Burke to tweet this image of the new Fermi-based GeForce 100 GPU running the Unigine Heaven DX11 benchmark earlier today. That’s certainly one way to hit back at ATI’s launch of the fastest graphics card ever, the Radeon HD 5970, but we’d much rather have some hard info to work with. We’ve pinged NVIDIA, we’ll let you know if we hear anything.
